Wrangle is a funny word

This week's links were smacked around and brought into line as practice for running my classroom again now that the school year has started.

• iPod speaker plans using four paper cups and two toothpicks (seriously, nothing else)
• mp3 search engine that I've successfully used a few times
• Kid-friendly plans from Ask This Old House. Especially enjoyable are the mini-golf plans and the raised bed plans.
• Important protests asking Obama to do something important.
• Multitask wants you to use the up and down for one thing, the left and right for another, the letters for a third. At least that's all it asked for as long as I could manage the game.
• The second ranked tennis player in the world is no longer either Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer.
• The human calendar makes me wonder what September will look like.
• A comparison of Huxley to Orwell makes Huxley look positively prescient.
• Quality baseball writing continues to impress.
• 100 Greatest Movie Posters seems a nutty idea considering how many posters are made, but these are some beautiful ones.
• 50 Best and Worst Twist Endings in Movies list undersells Fight Club, which is a crime.
