Saw the trailer before Sherlock Holmes. Exciting, though I didn't catch much of what was happening. Intense and a bit bummed that Nolan will only do a trilogy. Maybe it's better that way. Sherlock was a great action movie; Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. work well together.
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the second Sherlock Holmes with Downey/Law.
I get the impression that Nolan had an arc in mind when he started the whole Dark Knight series, and he's been clear in saying that it was a three-movie arc and that he would be finished after that.
I'll be sad to see him go, but I'd rather have a great three movies than what we got from the previous series which diminished in quality as each movie came along.
