jesus that pic is haunting...I've walked that concourse a thousand times but seeing the body bags there is just unsettling.
Also unsettling is the fact that my most prominent memory of that night was my mom being pissed that M*A*S*H was being interrupted for updates on the situation. I guess it was easy for her to be selfish since she could see all 4 of her children sitting right in front of her at the time...
I also remember 3 years later being part of a petition campaign pleading with concert organizers to bring The Police to town so we could see concerts again...
Being as frequent a concert-goer as I am, the Who tragedy is haunting. Seeing Rage Against the Machine at Lolla '08 and getting stuck in that mob was the single scariest event of my life, so I can't imagine what it must of been like for those poor souls.
