oh and we fried a turkey a few weeks ago last time i was in town... good stuff, but it wasnt that different if you didnt get any of the outside (aka the friend part). very good, but i would smoke mine if i had the choice

no turducken for me...I'm desperate for one, but at $70 and feeding a dozen, I'm too cheap for the first and too poor on Thanksgiving guests for the latter...

and the frying scares the holy crap out of me...

Yeah, deep frying a turkey looks really cool, but it scares the holy crap out of me...if ever I get to try a fried turkey, it'll be because a friend fried one, not because I did it myself...
