I hope that he includes the Scarlet Pimpernel in this series, he's always been one of my favorite characters. His novels are just the kind of thing that you can sit by the fireplace with a steaming mug of coffee and read. BTW, have you seen the Watchmen preview?
I did see it. Don't know how I feel about it, though.
The color schemes are radically different - much more muted. The tone of the preview is so over the top that it doesn't instill confidence that the movie will have the same tone as the graphic novel did.
300 was a near-perfect adaptation from book to movie. Snyder nailed that one.
I'm not feeling like Watchmen - which is, admittedly, a much longer, much more nuanced work than 300 - is going to be the same perfect adaptation.
