That is a nicely upbeat version...but damn - not a romantic song AT ALL!!!
That song should be redone by like...um...Linkin Park or NIN and it should be done with the right kind of angst and anger and creepiness that the lyrics deserve.
Even Sting, who wrote the song in his darkest despair as his first marriage ended wasn't able to convey what he really meant when the lyrics were put to music...weird how his obsessive yearning was interpreted as a love song...
It's so not a love song...I'm surprised Sting went along with the whole scene.
But Robert Downey Jr is really cute...
Yeah, The Girl asked if Sting liked doing pappy crap like that, and I wondered particularly if he liked doing it with creepy stalker songs.
Oh, and Downey's a decent singer, apparently.
