curious, what does your december 25th usually entail? turducken? laying wittle baby jesus in the manger (or perhaps angel-winged-tuxedo-t-shirt-jesus)? chinese food and a movie?

ive always assumed it was just the "regular" kind, but who knows

Christmas day itself is a pretty family affair...we typically open any presents the night before and then hang around playing with / listening to / enjoying whatever presents and some tv until Mom eventually tells us to stop looking while she gets the stockings filled...

in the morning, we get up and leave the stockings alone until mom gets up and asks if anybody noticed that the stockings are filled...we empty the stockings and flip through the Weekly World News found therin...then we get together whatever Christmas dinner entails - usually some roast with side dishes...The Mother-in-Law comes over an hour or two before the meal (usually mid-afternoon) and we get the old folks (only one of those left, sadly)...it's a pretty low-key affair, far different from when I was a kid - back then we would open all the presents Christmas morning and then have to rush to get dressed up and ready to go Grandma's (Dad's parents') house after going to Mom's parents' house the night before...

and I'm a Wii kinda guy, Dan...

thats actually eeriely similar to what we do, except for the whole weekly world news thing.

stockings are probably more exciting than the actual presents anymore, actually. once youre all growed up like me and have every transformer ever created presents get a little bland. id much rather take a sock full of sweet crap from traders world
