ITA! In a bit of April Fool's karma, my intern (that's what they call them down here...aka student teacher) kept asking about playing a joke on the kids. I told her that was on her but definitely not my style. She didn't (I am assuming b/c of my comment) but then she got upset that a sneaky student taped a piece of paper on her back that said "April Fools" on it. I told her that was b/c she was even thinking about doing something to them. Still upset her though. :/

I mentioned this very fact to the family tonight at dinner...they said I was lying.

Hate this holiday...hate all practical jokes.
They're not funny to anyone but the practical joker, and they're done at someone else's expense.
The options are that people get hurt or offended, or that the joke leads to retaliation.
The only exception is Google's April Fools jokes. They aren't at anyone's expense. They're funny.
