Happytime Murders is definitely intriguing. Its script was on the Black List - the best unproduced screenplays in Hollywood as voted on by assistants, managers, etc. - a few years back, so somebody likes it.
I've heard of the Black List. The description alone is enough to get me to check it out.
I wonder if the semi-success of The Muppets and Forgetting Sarah Marshall helped get Happytime made.
