The Last Waltz on youTube

From the outstandingest concert film ever...well, the entirety of The Last Waltz

As a bit of an intro, the preview

The opening & the Band with "Don't Do It"

"The Last Waltz Theme" and some interviews

The Band doing "Up on Cripple Creek" and Robbie being a true prat

The Band with "The Shape I'm In"

Ronnie Hawkins & the Hawks with "Who Do You Love"

The Band with "It Makes No Difference"

Dr John with "Such a Night" after a weird poetry reading

Neil Young's finest performance of "Helpless"

Back to the Band with "Stage Fright"

The Band does "The Weight" with the Staple Singers

"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" by The Band

I have no reason why. but it's Neil Diamond doing "Dry Your Eyes"

Joni Mitchell joins the Band on "Coyote"

Paul Butterfield joins in with "Mystery Train"

Muddy Waters & Paul Butterfield step in with "Mannish Boy"

Eric Clapton joins with "Further On Up the Road"

Emylou Harris & Rick Danko's time to shine on "Evangeline"

A taste of "Chest Fever" followed up "Ophelia"

"Caravan" with Van Morrison in an outstanding suit

More poetry followed by Bob doing "Forever Young"

And Bob stays through "Baby Let Me Follow You Down"

We close with "I Shall Be Released" with an amazing array of talent onstage and the absolutely gorgeous "Last Waltz Suite" sending them off into the night

Big time thanks to sk8punk3d288 for posting all of these.

Last Waltz changed my life.

Helpless or Caravan...take your pick!

Goes on the list of things I've showed in class (Early Grad Brit Lit...passion of the concert road in relation to Canturbury Tales!) that most people wouldn't agree with!

I'll take "Helpless", but it's mostly because Van Morrison looses a couple of points for his crushed velvet suit.

Seriously? The passion/pain of the road life as viewed through the lense of The Last Waltz? I am impressed.
