- Tommy - Freaky stuff, especially Ann-Margaret and the Acid Queen.
- Moon - modern classic in the suspense/sci-fi genres...great film with Sam Rockwell
- The Woman in Green - also on Hulu, but this is the colorized version
- Donnie Brasco - great gangster film with Johnny Depp and Al Pacino
- Castle of Cagliostro - early Miyasaki...might be worth a try
- Birth of a Nation - It's offensive and racist, but it's historically noteworthy as one of the first, revolutionary, feature-length films.
- Resident Evil - It's popular...that's something considering the selection I'm looking through. (Same for Big Daddy, Ghostbusters 2, Mr Deeds, Joe Dirt, Reign Over Me, Rudy, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus,
- Talladega Nights - hilarious
- Don't Mess with the Zohan - sadly, I've been wanting to see this for a while
- Adaptation - interesting take on what a film is
- Stranger Than Fiction - great performance from Will Ferrell in a funny piece of meta-fiction
- Shopgirl - beautiful, romantic, heartbreaking film
- Snatch - love it...great performances all around
- 1941 - one of Speilberg's forgotten gems...hilarious work from Belushi and a huge cast
- Charade - also on Hulu...brilliant, quick-witted, snappy comedy from Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn
- The Kid - Chaplin's classic
- Fast Break - Bill Simmons has written about this dozens of times, and I'm curious.
- The Terror of Tiny Town - brilliant, hilarious, all-midget cowboy movie about which I've written before
- Panic Room - David Fincher directs Jodie Foster and a very young Kristen Stewart. Claustrophobic, terrifying tale
- The Man With the Golden Arm - here and on Hulu
- It Might Get Loud - I've been curious about this Jack White guitar summit for a while.
- Primer - not officially on YouTube as a full movie, so I don't know how long it'll be there, but this is a masterful work of economical and mind-bending storytelling
