...couldn't drag me away...

How gorgeous is that photo (source)?

It's a silhouette of the Wild Horses Monument in Eastern Washington State, and I'm thinking that we've got a new destination for vacation some day.

There are a bunch more photos at this site...

...and video here...

we actually went to that last summer while we were out that way. It is in the middle of the state and right on I90. Don't be fooled. it is not an easy walk up the hillside and getting down is harder.

It is on I90 between Seattle and Spokane. If you have not been to Washington state, you won't believe the geography.

Imagine driving on an interstate, come around almost a 90 degree bend in the highway and WHAM, there is this gorgeous river valley and up on the hill you see the monument!! You enter the roadside rest area and then you get to climb the hill.

The only discouraging thing is the graffiti that has defiled the monument.

Thanks for sending your pics my way. It's cool to see them up close.

Sorry to see that there's so much graffiti on the sculptures, but I guess it's not shocking since they're so much in the middle of nowhere.
