Niche blogging through the DC Universe

I am amazed at how thoroughly in love with certain characters some fans are.

In looking around the web, I stumbled this week upon a number of niche blogs each focusing on one DC hero.  No Batman, no Superman, no Wonder Woman.

These are the lesser lights...in order from big to small...

• Bat Blog - there is no larger niche than Batman
• Crimson Lightning - the Flash's pretty big in the world of niche blogging
• Idol-Head of Diabolu - some weird Martin Manhunter/bad guys combo blog
• Comic Box Commentary - Supergirl's fansite
• Aquaman Shrine - he's be lower if it weren't for Super Friends
• Dispatches from the Arrow Cave - GA's a beast
• Being Carter Hall - Hawkman's a weenie...his female counterpart was chosen for the Justice League cartoon
• Atom: The Mighty Mite - Of course he's a smaller hero than the ones above
• Justice League Detroit - tribute to the weakest era of the greatest super team
• Firestorm Fan - the nuclear man's powers were awesome, but he never clicked as a popular hero
• The Phantom Stranger - It was this one that I first stumbled onto and that linked to all of the others.  Man, the Phantom Stranger is truly niche but has an awesome origin story.

And, in no relation at all to this post other than that I found it while searching for niche blogs, a post of Action Figures Holding Mini Figures of themselves.

Then again, at least the niche bloggers have some sort of theme...
