Snow day conundrum

It's a snow day because it's clearly unsafe to drive on the roads (we had maybe 1/4 inch of snow when the day was called at 5:30 this morning, but we're supposed to have six inches by the end of the day).

But I want to go to Taqueria Mercado for lunch.

That looks quite good, disregarding the beans. Personally, I'm not a big fan of refried beans.

I'll have to stop by there at some point.

Disadvantages to being in college are limited..but one is definitely that we never get snow days.

It's 1:00 and the roads aren't all that bad just yet - did you make the trip?

Slug - Dude, refried beans - if done well - are outstanding. There are a couple of locations - one downtown and the first one out on Rt 4. It's a little strip mall with Mexican-centric businesses. Great little bakery next door.

Mirage - I remember having one cold weather day when I was in college. The temp dropped below zero, and the wind was at about twenty miles an hour. They told us not to walk to class.

Calen - Our subdivision streets weren't great by that point. I'm thinking it might be a Saturday lunch treat this weekend. Or maybe something for spring break.

That's entirely thanks to Cincinnati Bites. I linked to their review in the title and just above the image. I've actually never been but desperately want to now.
