Hello to simplicity

I absolutely love the new iPhone ad.

The beautiful simplicity of it all, the fact that the word iPhone is never mentioned...

Amazing...

Apple may not be the biggest tech company in the world (oh, they're big, sure, but Microsoft and Google still could squish them like little bugs), but they easily have the best design and ad folks out there.

And if you'd like to know who's in the commercial, here's the best list I could find...

ad folks...certainly...design is in the eye of the beholder

personally, i have issues with apple, mainly their iPod/iTunes trickery

the whole deal with iTunes licensing and how the song files are changed to a format that is ONLY readable on iTunes (.mp4 or whatever it is) reeks of communism to me. And, being a blue-blooded, free spirited american (orrrrr pirate born 200 years too late), it urks me.

and i think microsoft gets a bad rap for making more "budget priced" computers than apple, thus lowering the image of their overall product. as ive said before, i bought a (*gasp*) mid/high range windows computer and have never had issues...


...that being said... i love the ads too

Oh, Apple has some serious issues, agreed, but their ads and their visual design for their products are full out taste makers. Whatever they design is cool.

It's not always the best, but it has a very, very high cool factor.
